Having seen the episodes currently airing in france, this series keeps getting better and better.
Spoiler for Episode 11 and 12 (MAJOR SPOILERS):
Alot of things happen in this time frame.
Molly has a race with "Spirit", the guy who supposibly killed Molly's mother. During the whole race, Molly constantly doesn't listen to Don Wei's pleas to throw the match, even after her racing vechile gets horribly beat up. She even tried to kill Spirit, after he lands on top of her ship, by a small bridge above her. (Which in turn she damages her ship greatly.)
Soon after, she keeps racing in rage, and Rick soon has a feeling what's going on. He soon manages to convince her to calm down. (As she heads through a tunnle.) As soon as Molly goes through the tunnel, Spirit attaches himself to the window of Molly Vechile, and causes herself not be able to see anything. This in turn causes Aika to run off to go help Molly.
Soon after, Molly's ship ends up bashing against the wall, loosing part of the ship. Soon after, her ship goes completely out of control, smashing into bits and pieces onto the ground. When Aika arrives, he finds Molly out cold, and see's Spirit approach him. Soon afterwords, Spirit begins to look into Molly's mind, and see's only images of "himself" supposibly killing her mother. Spirit then sends an image into Molly's mind, showing her that Molly's mother makes Spirit back away from her as she approaches the finishline, due to a gas leak. Though, what actually caused it to explode is still unknown. (It's believe that the flames set it unfire, however.) Soon after, Molly cries while unconious, and a ambuliance(sp?) arrives.
Soon after this, in episode 12, it deals with Kouji and Stan looking for some parts to repair the broken vechile. (which is literally, almost unfixable. I'll get a screenshot of it soon.) They decide to seak out Flint, and have a discussion with him. Though, both are a little annoyed, and then have their "pets" so to speak, attack them. As Stan and Kouji run off, they end up in a dead turn, and are left with Flint and his buddy walking up, dicussing with them more. (I'm not 100% sure what happened here, due to my limited knowledge in french)
I'll update this later.
I'll post more soon, but that's about it.
You know though, the music in this series is really amazing. I'm really surprised Savin managed to get two well known japanese composers to work on this, including Yoko Kanno for the op/ed. While this isn't really a 100% true anime, it is however a really truely well done co-production, better than IGPX I would say. More surprising is how HAL's animation is on this series. (Episode 12's 90% done on the japanese TEAM, almost no 3D animation.)
While alot may look at this show first off as a racing anime, there's something deeper happening here, and it gets more evident as the episode proceed. (Episode 12 has no racing, except for that small bit near the end of the episode. Than again, so did episode 1.) I'm getting more and more curious where the direction of this series is going to turn.
*Wonders what episode 13 will be about...*
