Yeah, maybe the lack of merchandise is due to the game not being popular in Japan? Quite sad as this is one of the best if not the best VN I have read so far...

Come on he's an international terrorist who killed like 5k+ people in Japan from the incident alone. Its like getting sent to jail for killing Osama bin Laden
