There are seriously no bland characters in this show. Ougi is curious and Yotsugi is adorable.

It's true, I too dislike the time traveling plot cliche where efforts are in vain and/or lead to bigger mess where the whole episode/arc spent on correcting it.
I haven't read anything beyond Neko White so I'm completely blind here, but I don't feel like this is all there is to it. I believe it will turn into a much darker arc at some point base on split second flash forward scenes.
