That can easily be ignored or handled like how they handled Nadesico. Besides, something like that is usually just mentioned than ignored(Like Godmars in Z no longer causing a game over if it's destroyed) in favor of fun gameplay and crazy Mecha attacks. Than there are the Energy regen parts or the support units that can refill ammo/energy and recover the health of other units. So it's a non-issue for SRW games. Sorta like how they don't care in Z if you use a VOTOMS scopedog to punch out the massive last bosses in the game where it's smaller than their toes.
