I wouldn't be surprised if none of the girls die on the course of the story but also wouldn't be surprised if any do. So far the battles between the idols and the government seems to be not too dangerous. The idols don't use lethal weapons on actual people, only on unmanned vehicles. And the forces they fight seems more like a police, apparently also avoiding to kill but rather immobilize and arrest (like using water for instance). But then there is causalities in the conflict between the DES and the pro-entertainment forces, and the idols are supposedly in the front line.
They could go both ways.
