So the eyes being connected was/could be the case
. This was one of my theories about the eyes and Tobi being Obito from back in chapter 594. The eyes being connected imo hasn't been fully confirmed yet though.

Yeah i was thinking close/similar to this as well. I personally hope it doesn't go this path. Mainly because (in my opinion) i think it would be too cliche. I hope Kishimoto sensei can come up with something else personally.
