Nope, there's no relation at all. If there was, then they would have had to really screw up the story to wind up with this.
I know the names are similiar, but that's it. remember this is w-wish, which can be pronounced double wish in japanese. try to think of it like that, it makes it easier to tell them apart. I was confused at first too.
As far as I know, there is no anime version of clamp's wish and no plans on one. I hope that changes though, I liked the manga, though the ending was kind of cheesy. Enjoyable, but by no means clamps best work. Still I'm not execting one, since it's kind of old, and they're already doing a xxxholic movie and a Tsubasa series.
