First love? Ugh..... . I'd prefer to take Hitagi's word and think of it as 'almost' first crush (if he had saved her). Though I suppose it's not as clearcut as that...
Question to novel readers: Were Karen and Araragi always that close (hugging).. or is it a new thing?
