I think I'm fairly satisfied with this one, hence an 8. The show will get much better when Alice's nobility side is explored some more, especially once it intermingles with the underlying conspiracy, of which they picked up one more puzzle piece.
Still, I'm surprised that they still stay away from the main manga storyline, I never expected them to avoid it for so long. They were all on-track till episode 4, but when the story really kicks off is chapter 5, and we're still waiting for it. Instead, we get YET ANOTHER no-manga episode next time.
Strange...
Ah well, we'll see.
