The world is under one rule so people would be mixed together now. A lot of the factions are pretty mixed up and part of the series is about sorting them out for the characters to deal with.
As for Saji. Will the recent events be the first of many crises he will be responsible for or not? Just hope he's on the road to realizing how messed up the world he lives in really is.
P.S. Gundam series is despite the fact its sci-fi needs to be more or less more grounded realistically than super robot animes. I still think Graham's new identity to be kinda pushing it.
But what the heck. I'll just enjoy the show.
