well, the pieces of the puzzle are all in place at the end of episode 11. we have Haruka and Gai... and with Inori captured, Shu will be more curious why all those things transpired..

I got a gut feeling that the "other" boy in the picture was not actually Gai but that new dude with the King's power..

but Gai being the "other" boy would make perfect sense since he somehow knows who "Mana" is.. I have a gut feeling that..

Spoiler for :): Inori is a "part" of Mana that was separated from her during the lost Christmas event considering that they wanted to "create" something that could counter Mana's song (the one being played first that triggered the infection in episode 11)... that would somehow explain their connection. I remember in Shaman King, there was actually only one son, Hao... to create an equal for Hao destined to stop him, they extracted the "good" in Hao and thus was born Yoh. So i guess it's the same concept with Inori and Mana... the former being compared to Yoh and the latter to Hao
