I just finished reading up to the current chapter and all of the comments in this thread (at least 20% of which is people saying the same thing). The manga has good art but the story and pace... Yeah, nothing more needs to be said.
Despite the flaws, I'll stick around for two reasons: 1) to see how this 14 women plan is going to play out (and maybe learn more about the Genji tale since I can't find a translated copy in my library) and 2) some of the reactions here are rather hilarious.
