Made back in 2007, so at the very least it has a digital master. Digital masters started to become the norm in Japan in 2005. That's all you really need for a good upconvert. It's really up to the authoring house from there. Unfortunately, Funimation does their own authoring, which is a hit or miss depending to the title.
