It's too early to tell which is better and I find it hard to compare since they are quite different. And the best way of getting more readers is word of mouth. In a couple of weeks, after my Macross Re-watch is going steady, I'll make a sig to promote it like I did with Kimiiro Focus (boosted readership by the hundreds) not too long ago.

Actually the first Velvet Kiss volume sold way better than any of the three Koi Wa Suru volumes so in that sense it is already better. Velvet kiss popularity growth is also certainly higher.
