An important complain I have for this episode is that the zone mini-arcs follow a strict guideline:

What I definitely liked the best of all was Dorurumon's past with BlueMeramon revealed. While Dorurumon's not a double-crosser at heart, its flashback delivered strong drama regarding the horrors and trauma inflicted by the current state of war in the Digital World.

The comradeship between BlueMeramon and Dorurumon felt realistic and was effective.

The zones act as the levels. Xros Heart encountered and speak with the Digimon inhabitants oppressed in a particular zone. If luck smiles to them, they'll be able to trigger an event that will lead them to a treasure, for example, the Digi-Memories. The Code-Crown doesn't appear until the Bagura General that controls said area is completely destroyed. When they got the Code-Crown for the Magma Zone, I was cheated. I mean it became a convenient deus-Ex-machina that the Code-Crown appeared right before team Xros-Heart, ready to be picked-up. That type of conclusion devices are a wuss for let's not say cheap. Spoiler: It was thanks to Kiriha's interference and Blue Meramon's assistance that provided the needed edge for team Xros Heart to escape and reclaim back the red Xros Loader. Unfortunately, they lost BlueMeramon in the process. You'll never be forgotten BlueMeramon. Your loyalty towards Dorulumon's comraderie proved to be your best asset and defining quality.
