It's quite easy, maybe it wasn't explicit in the anime itself (putting my bucks that it was explained in the game).
Haruka considered them as a "couple", because she had a guy that had already confessed TWICE to her, and she likes him back. So she's only trying hard not to mess it up doing something and fail
(as if Junichi would care).
