TSAB was the primary inspiration for me to try to devise an interdimensional organization set on patroling dimensions of differing kinds, with their agents being of many different races. Said organization could be seen as a sort of MMORPG-like Hub Space from where one could go to several different places.
If my story manages to finally get officially published, this may be deemed as slight spoilers, but it seems this is the best way to get my point across.
