The lyrics to Bios are interesting. (You probably remember it as the song that played in Episode 1 after Shu drew out Inori's Void for the first time.) For a song I've repeatedly seen referenced as the theme of Shu and Inori, it has a pretty nasty double-meaning involving Shu and Mana. I claim no great proficiency in German, but it's an easy language to read, so here's a rough translation:
The ruined city is still beautiful I waited a long time for your return In the hand, a Forget-Me-Not *
(English) It might be just like a bird in the cage How could I reach to your heart I need you to be stronger than anyone I release my soul so you feel my song (/English)
Raindrops are my tears Wind is my breath and my story Twigs and leaves are my hands And my body is wrapped in roots
When the thaw comes, I will wake and sing a song The Forget-Me-Not that you gave me Is here
Do you remember? Do you still remember the words That you gave me?
Do you remember? Do you remember the day That you told me...?
When the time of the Forget-Me-Nots comes, I sing a song When the time of the Forget-Me-Nots comes, I call you
Do you remember? Do you still remember the words That you gave me?
Do you remember? Do you remember the day That you told me...?
(English) It could be the whole of the problem change your body I need you to be stronger than anyone I release my soul so you feel my breath Feel my move (/English)
Raindrops are my tears Wind is my breath and my story Twigs and leaves are my hands And my body is wrapped in roots
When the thaw comes, I will wake and sing a song The Forget-Me-Not that you gave me Is here
The marked lyric in the first stanza is literally, "in der Hand ein Vergissmeinnicht, " so yeah. A more liberal translation would probably be "I waited a long time for your return With a Forget-Me-Not in hand"
Take it poetically and it can be about Shu and Inori. Take it literally, and it's about Mana waiting for Shu to return and remember the time he caused Lost Christmas. Considering the times it plays in-story, I think that may be the intended interpretation. Ouch. Man, Shu and Inori just gets more and more uncomfortable. Go for Ayase or Hare, Shu! You still have time to save yourself!
