Somehow this anime is endorsed by some professional astronomy organizations and publications in Japan. There is even an interview with the mangaka in a recent issue of 星ナビ. Hopefully the studio will do adequate research in depicting nightskys and astronomical instruments.
Anyway the telescope setup in the poster would probably look weird to anyone who has the slightest degree of stargazing experience.
