I suggest we inject a large amount of liquified oxygen (by electrolysing the water then channelling it directly into the deposits) into the seafloor to deny the dirty Koreans of a resource to compete with Japan.
Probably it won't be as much as what the Russians/Alaskans have. Here is a picture showing how much everyone has :
It probably won't overtake oil from the Mideast for a long time, but it will be incredibly destructive because methane hydrate is alot more volatile than crude. Storage is going to be gigantic problem.
