I really can't buy that Joker, after overpowering all the five Cures, is defeated by just Reika...

But she didn't do it alone, Pop helped her by blocking the surprise back attack which made an opening for Beauty to take advantage of, otherwise Beauty would've been K.O.ed on the spot, so my take was that Joker under-estimated the wild card which was Pop, most probably due to his size and shape shifting ability which is different to that of fighting the Precures. Also Beauty had always been the one to see the enemies' weakness and act accordingly, so I also see it as that her "levelling rate" in her fighting ability is really high - just look at her pulling that ice sword out of nowhere for example lol.

Plus the Beauty/Joker fight was the closest and most brutal so I thought the writers actually planned it out pretty well.
