Either way, isn't it a bit dangerous to use the lotus? What if one of those was the real Naruto, ok, so assuming Kaskashi knew those were all clones, why would he use the Lotus on clones?

! Still, Sasuke was able to copy Shadow Leaf Dance and use Lee's speed. It's only natural that Kakashi as a Sharingan user would be able to do something similar. After all, Gai is his rival right? And I think Kakashi only performed Shadow Leaf Dance which itself is not dangerous. He didn't perform Lotus, (a jutsu that uses Shadow Leaf) which is a strain on the body.
