I'm well aware that you can increase your range through practice, but it's ignorant to be unaware of physiological limits as well. Range is important for personal development as a singer, but I think the new rule isn't worth thinking about to that extent for an unofficial karaoke competition that encourages enjoyment
. In my opinion, being able to sing the song you want at the pitch you can execute it most musically is wonderful. Ack... i hope none of this sounds offensive... sorry *scratch scratch...
