This is all I really remember of the stories set post-Disappearance, and has contributed to my dislike of the character and my branding of her as a Mary Sue.
Really wish Tanigawa would just have her sacrifice herself epically somehow and focus the story back on Kyon and Haruhi...

With Vols. 7, 8, and 9, it looks like Tanigawa is trying to create clear antagonists who aren't Haruhi... which actually isn't bad at all, since Haruhi is nowhere near as unconsciously malevolent as she used to be, and a story needs conflict to tell itself...
