3. Idea of alternative machine is good so long as it's executed right, besides, a handful of machines? Ermm...
Mind you, as much as I hate Tabane, she's really that invincible most of the time, it'll take massive mental breakdown for her to lose guard.
Or maybe that's exactly what happened somewhat justifying point 1 through 3.
