Apparently doing one particular thing that is similar to another particular thing another character in the franchise did makes you that character. Who would have known that Kio's desire to do things his own way and be his own man seperate from his father and grandfather would forever make him another character from a completely seperate timeline in the eyes of the franchises fans.
