Nodoka, upon hearing Yue jump off the bookcase-made cliff, uses the Diarium Ejus to find out about how Yue, out of fear that her feelings for Negi will result in the loss of a friend, tried to keep it a secret from her. Upon confronting Yue on the watery bottom of the cliff, Nodoka then literally slaps some sense into Yue and tells her that while she herself finds it uneasy to accept this news, she's okay with Yue having feelings for Negi. The last four pages involve Negi making a Pactio with Yue, with Chamo and the rest of the 3-A Library Club members watching (and, in the case of Konoka and Haruna, encouraging Negi and Yue to go through with the procedure). As the chapter ends, Haruna tries to get Negi to make a Pactio with her (we won't know if the Pactio happened or not until next week).
