Hi guys... I was sick with an MC and I thought I would use the time to actually finish it... which I did...yesterday.
I will admit that I was tormented by the magical events(especially the epilogue)
until the salvation
Spoiler for lots of them:
comes in the form of Battler not in chains
and にぱ!
.
Jokes aside, it was very hard to determine what is false and what is truth. To begin with, I was honestly considering if occult reasoning can be used to explain the murders. Of course, that would be like admitting that the witch exist but let us describe episode 2 in two ways logically: the murder is done by 19th person with a helper from one of the 18 people OR the murder is done by one or more of the 18 people.
Firstly, the murder in the church clearly shows us that none of them was pretending death and there were only leaving 12 people + 1 "guest". While the nature of their death can be an endless routine of speculation, the only thing we can argue is how they were transported in the church. From my guess that there two ways to fake the closed room scenario. One, like most people would suggest, by sneaking into Maria's room and steal the key OR two, by having the door opened before handing the key to Maria, thus creating the illusion that it was a closed room from the beginning. However, I will admit that the 2nd reasoning has some problems: Genji or the servant who patrol frequently would have find the doors were unlocked during their patrols and the killer would still need to steal Maria's key to lock the church.
At this time, it is very convenient to assume that the "guest " has any doing. Interestingly, Kanon who was killed in Jessica's room was "missing" from the room. Because the witch explicitly said that no one was hiding, how about a body was hiding? Battler did explain that there maybe hidden hiding spots that could hide the body/people. From here, we can try to suspect either Nanjo or one of the other servant who has the master keys to lock the door.
Moving along, the murder at the servant's room questions us that if the "guest" is involved in the murder. Assuming that those alive are innocent, our suspect would the "deceased" Nanjo and Kumasawa and the "killer". Again, if the body can be hidden, it can give an illusion that the bodies were taken away or is alive and cooperating with the killer.
Finally, by the time the last three were killed, that's were I stop thinking... I could not no longer explain the incident with human tricks.
Interestingly, by the time I finish the game (with the epilogue) it was 11.55pm... that was darn close. Had it been 12 am, I would definitely freak out. Anyways any thoughts and comment on my opinion?
