Spoiler:
"Ichika, your hands are really thin."
Ichika looked up from his textbook and gave Charles an odd look at the comment, "That's pretty random," He commented with a smile,"And really, you shouldn't be one to talk. Your hands are way thinner than mine."
The two were currently studying in Ichika's dorm room on account of the upcoming tests. Failing the tests meant that they would be stuck here in summer school. And, as comfortable as the school was, neither of them really found it appealing to stay here for the whole summer.
"Really? I think they're okay," Charles held up his hand and showed it to Ichika who sat across the table, "I do a lot of piano and drawing so I guess that's why they're so thin. Maybe if I-"
Whatever he was about to say was drowned out by what Ichika did next. Without so much as a comment, the Japanese boy raised his own hand and pressed it against Charles. A bout of redness started to spread heavily against the blond gentleman's cheeks, but Ichika paid it no mind.
"Hmm, your hands are way smaller than mine," He stared at their connected hands. It was pretty funny actually; it looked like they were doing a high five but stopped at the separation point, "Are you sure you're a guy? Your hands seem really soft." He joked.
"O-Of c-course I'm a guy!" Charles denied fervently, more redness seeping into his cheeks, "A-Anyway, you really shouldn't talk. Your hands are really slender. You must take after your older sister."
Ichika raised an eyebrow at the comment. What did that have to do with anything, "Yeah, I guess you're right."
The taller boy made to pull his hand back before he stopped. Charles was holding onto his hand, his finger entwined softly in his. Ichika didn't bother to comment on his friend's odd actions. Maybe it was a French thing.
"Hey, Ichika.......I like you..."
"Say what?" Ichika replied blankly. Was this another foreign tradition? If so this was a rather creepy one he could do without.
"You....r hands! That's right, I meant your hands!" To emphasize his point, Charles gripped the opposing boy's hand tighter, "You cook a lot, don't you? They say that those who do have the hands of a caretaker," He swiftly tried to change the subject.
"Uh...yeah..." Damn, why was his face blushing? It was only Charles.
