That may be true, but the real question is, does that affect anything? I've used XP since forever now, and I will say that it doesn't. As I said already, I get spam on my email everyday. That spam comes mostly from botnets, with infected machines acting as zombies, sending constant emails. I don't like spam, so it would be better for less machines to be infected, don't you think?
