I remember when people were hyped for Guilty Crown I just didn't feel it. It seemed to be a lot of style over substance right from the beginning. I gave it a chance but it was clear pretty early on they were going for flash not depth.
Of course I became interested in Psycho Pass when Urobuchi was first rumored to be involved (the early gun promo did nothing for me). But now even the premise (sounds like some good sci-fi) and the fact that got someone involved with live action dramas has me hyped.
I am really hoping this will meet my expectations and I am trying not to let them grow to high. Of course a 1 cour series is always worrying (I assume this is 1 cour) but Urobuchi did handle a 1 cour series very well in Madoka so he at least is capable of it.
