Sakuna gets a new weapon. Her father won a battle with Mizuchi, but his star-spirit-sword was broken to two pieces. The missing half(horn) is later found as Sakuna's farming tool. The blacksmith reforges the tool, so Sakuna is more ready to fight Mizuchi.

I agree, I never cared for tama that much, he was kind of annoying too at the beginning like the rest.
