Fay has the privilege of not just facing off against Gremoire in the God's Casino, but also getting to see her in a busty beauty of a form (and is that Yukana?)
 !So it's going to be Fay vs Gremoire in three games, each she plans to win with an Certain Cheat of Victory, and Fay has to figure out what she's doing to cheat. But at least she's nice enough to let his friends in on the cheat and then let them be the dealers  .Nel really uses her legs for everything, huh? Even a coin toss! Though I guess there was another reason she used her legs... Pearl is not mentally prepared to be a card dealer in this ultra important match  !I knew Fay was eventually going to figure it out and actually beat the Bookmaker. It turns out the cheat was never anything Gremoire did...it was his own teammates using their abilities (or in Leshea's case, great poker skills) to help Gremoire win, and Fay was the only one that knew about Pearl's time limit for her power to be able to know it wouldn't kick in when Gremoire expected it too  !Thanks to the power of teamwork and everyone else betting their own wins for Nel's sake, they succeeded! And now Nel is back in the game and finally part of Team Fay! Just in time to join on a mission to a labyrinth where Apostles have been stuck in a never-ending, constantly re-spawning, match against a God  .Pearl and Nel want to do Easy Mode, but Fay and Leshea know the only way they're going to win is through Hard Mode. I am kind of curious what the Easy mode would've been like  .How pleasant and peaceful! Why, it's a field perfect for a picnic! Minus the killer apples that attack! I love how Pearl is the first one to get taken out  .Uroboros has finally made it to Gremoire so she's just one step away from reuniting with Fay's team...will she end up interrupting this game  ?

I've never seen someone so proud to have been able to doge a flying apple. Then again, after dying to them 9 times...wait, make that 10, it flew at Pearl even after it hit the ground. Poor girl
.Okay, well, tutorial is over! Time to go all in on this Roguelite dungeon! With plenty of re-spawning and hard difficulty before you get to the Final Boss .Is the dungeon creator really dead? I mean, I can believe a God died of boredom, but she had such a distinctive design that we only see in chibi form .Pearl really likes naming things! Especially if they're super cute like Puff Puffs! And I love how one immediately chomped on her chest .Every Roguelite needs that enemy that shows up and immediately kills you so you have to reset from the beginning and get how the game works! And Nel finally gets to show off and reflect it's attack and defeat it! If only she wasn't comedically killed by flying fruit from a window afterwards  .So Nel's tights tear up every time she uses her power? So she has to bring several spar pairs of tights to change into? Not that I don't like the visual of her putting some new tights on  . Oh hey, Ashland! We haven't seen you since episode 3  !They have the key to the boss room (sword + shield = key), and all they have to do is wake up the boss...only to keep getting destroyed. Actually, doesn't Fay's Arise prevent him from dying or is that negated or only kicks in when he wants it too ?Handy use of umbrellas! And now time for the real Boss Fight! Even if they're all limited in power and the boss is uber powerful! Luckily it's weak against its own attacks, and Nel gets to finish it and give us bare-legged Nel  !Okay, this dungeon is ridiculous. Leaving behind an item that automatically revives the boss? Good thing Uroboros finally showed up and beat it in one punch. And girl is so petty she had Gremoire negate her last defeat so she can be undefeated again .

Well, the good news is the team now have a God for a guest star party member in Uroboros, the bad news is...if the God of this labyrinth is dead, how can you complete it? It's totally bugged out. Not that that's ever going to stop Fay and his team
.I never expected to see a Meep able to properly chastise Uroboros with a yellow card .Uroboros is still as smug as ever and trying to get people to play games with her despite the fact that no one wants to...though I guess she'll settle for being a teammate. Even if she DOES get Pearl pepper sprayed. . Aw, what a cute Harumph Fairy! Though Pearl is getting a little too handsy .Zombie Puffy Puff! It pukes stomach acid! Nel's chest gets like 90% blurred out !Look at that, a helpful angel voiced by Shinichiro Miki! So nice he even accepts Pearl's goofy nickname. Too bad he's a clean-freak who will "purify" you to death the moment he senses anything unclean. And he'll do that in any loop so long as he can smell it  .Pearl was so confident she wouldn't get hit by an apple, only to still get hit by one. I guess that's very Pearl. At least it didn't kill her this time...until Pizaplin still kills them anyway. Pearl just can't catch a break  .Did you really think they would introduce character-specific swimsuits for all the girls and NOT have them wear them? Especially when if there's anything girls are great at, it's bathing and keeping themselves in nice, clean, condition. Especially if it means we get a mini-beach episode with the girls looking great in bikini's (and Uroboros in a tight "Undefeated" one-piece). And Pearl's Pearl's are on full display in her bikini, especially when she has a wardrobe malfunction courtesy of Uroboros saving her from a shark !They did it! They got through to the treasure room! And they managed to get a key! Too bad the game bugs out and they're sent hurtling down a pitfall...but backup is on the way in the form of Dax and Kelritch  .

Lot of uncertainty at play right now. If the god is dead shouldn't that game have collapsed and not simply bugged out? Heck if the god is dead I can't imagine that Meep can do more than pull out cards and make threats to Uroboros.
Honestly Uroboros was bringing most of the fun in this episode. She pointed out how actually broken the game was and got things moving in a better direction. I mean sure, might as well have a swimsuit sequence. The game is functional enough to actually generate appropriate swimwear for the exact individuals opening the chest. Regardless it's good they had that way to get out of the mess. And that they (Pearl) didn't mess up going to the treasure room after getting clean since they could have been stuck perpetually going for swims. Guess we'll see how things go. Whether Faye will somehow clear the game anyways or if they'll actually need to be bailed out. Though I feel like it will almost certainly be the former. It is Faye after all. That guy never loses.

Of course the two gods stick the landing in the pitfall more than the humans do
.Oh wow, the God really did straight up just die because they got tired of humans taking so long to complete the dungeon. Though considering how much revival goes on in this game, it makes sense that reviving said God would be on the table...provided you 100% clear the dungeon. I mean, that's just natural, right  ?Glad we got a little more swimsuit screentime for the girls as they purify the puff-puffs and get their approval! Finally cute things aren't killing Pearl . Bringing everyone and their gear together to map out and explore the entire dungeon! Fighting Raid Bosses like a giant King Eraser, Killer Apples (don't take Pearl there), or a Sphinx Mecha voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama! Good thing they've got Uroboros who can just one-punch everything, but she's so broken she just gets booted out of the game .Dax showing up all dramatic and wearing the most absurd coat just so he can play Dax Dice! I love how he acts like this perfect rival character when he's still concerned about saving everybody else. Good thing Kelritch can translate Dax's tsundere rival speech  .Guess it figures it would all come down to them going the way they came...and a secret boss entrance...all so they can revive frikkin' ANUBIS (is that Misaki Kuno?!). Who is not only the creator but also the Final Boss! Who is so broken she can summon all the creatures she created and sick them on players! Good thing they collected all the gear they needed to beat them !Oh, she's a total idiot just making this up as she goes along. Her own attacks get reflected back at her and the gear she created doesn't work if she forgets about it. She feels like Pearl if she were a God. Good thing the one-revive mirror worked !Nice way of bringing in the OP just as Fay is getting into the game .Nel finally earns her keep AND a princess carry from Fay by deflecting Anubis' attack .So Leshea could just solo the Raid Bosses? Or at least fight them evenly. I forget how powerful she is. Also Fay hasn't used his Arise since, like, episode four .The gang manage to have Anubis unleash all her power which satisfies her enough to give them a win, and the promise of another game once she revives again...though really, she feels like way too much work to keep reviving so I'd probably skip her  !They won! And now Uroboros feels like part of the team and two God ladies are trying to drag Fay into different games (not the worst situation). Though it definitely seems like Leshea is connected somehow to that older girl Fay is looking for, but for now he and his team will just focus on clearing games together  !

This show was truly a ride. No Fay I don't think it's fine so long as the stupid cheating god is enjoying herself. Also his "there's no way we can't enjoy the game when you look like that" lasted right up to their items getting sealed
. Didn't enjoy that part eh ?And yeah, they won for some reason. I actually have no idea why. But I guess the Goddess fired off enough shots...Yeah there's no way I can comment on this without making it sound perverted so I'm going to move on. That's the end of the show. Honestly it started out pretty decent. I liked the tension that existed with Lesche's existence. The 3 strikes and you're out rule added some more tension. And the state of the world where they needed these game powers to steadily explore was all pretty interesting. And the show pretty much did nothing with all of it and erased the middle part . While I like Nel, I still think erasing her losses and introducing that mechanic just broke the show. There's no sense of tension left. So long as one of them is still playing they can spam wins to get back into it. Ironically this mechanic should have made it easier to give Fay a random loss here and there to keep things interesting, but he still never really lost (unless I blanked out on one). He didn't need to be unstoppable, but he is anyways.Character designs and voice acting was good. It looked decent too. They didn't cheap out on the show. The major problems are all story driven. Show had potential, but didn't quite make the most of it. I'm going to be a bit stingy and say 5/10.
