Shame the rescheduling. This was clearly not one of the anime the industry would put money into, so its not like I cared much about the animation quality.

Yeah, Shiho is a damn idiot. Credit to her I suppose. She really does make Aki seem like a sensible person by comparison. I mean, I get it. Seeing people better at things than you is never fun...that doesn't make being incredibly petty look good.

Really sucks that the show will be paused at this point for who knows how long. Because...it ends on Shiho looking like the most pathetic human being. She couldn't handle being second behind this other girl so she took up the guitar to literally spite her. Wow . I guess it's a good thing she didn't simply take up the guitar in order to be #1 there instead since you know...she's probably not going to be. There's only one person out of the billions in the world that can be at the top of any one thing. It's probably not going to be her for guitars, violins, or much else. Even if this friend wasn't superior to Shiho at the violin, I'm sure someone else in the world was.

At least this clears it up. She's pissed at any group that isn't seriously trying to go pro because she needs that to satisfy her childish grudge....against someone that had zero hostility towards her. I can't wait to see how supremely upbeat Himari tries to spin this into a positive .

I guess she lost track of her focus within SS. She enjoyed the friendship, had feelings for Aki, and all was great. Maybe, maybe she figured out her feelings for Yori and realizing that wouldn't work out she snapped and went back to her original grudge. And seeing that the SS girls weren't trying to reach that level (or because she couldn't stand being around Aki after realizing it) she threw a tantrum and left.

I'm trying to give her something that isn't the worst motivation imaginable. But...geeze. The only things this girl has going for her are being cute and her musical talents.

They probably won't be able to air the final two episodes though since they'll have run out of timeslots after ep 10.

Welcome back show. I've seen worse hiatus. Hopefully they can finish up the show (even if they'll likely have to find sometime to air the last episodes down the road).

Gee I wonder why she hasn't told anyone about such a petty and stupid reason for wanting to go pro ? Sounds like the kind of thing a person would totally want to broadcast! Seriously the break was nice, but the stupidity of Shiho's motivations remains as amazing as ever. Himari is a wonderfully upbeat person, but I worry for her trying to spin everything in the world in a positive way. Now I kind of want to see her spin a serial killer's actions into a positive...

I could feel the facepalm coming when Himari started to try and draw everyone together... There's just no way that would turn out ok! It wouldn't even be likely if Shiho had a good reason for wanting to go pro! This petulant reason isn't going to draw everyone together in smiles and cheer! Sure if we focus on the reason she left the band it will be less pathetic since it's just normal jealousy. Though I mean...that's still not great.

I'm sure seeing people she knows not get along isn't fun. But being a cute airhead will not resolve all of Himari's life's problems! Though apparently I'm wrong since everyone was pretty much willing to indulge her. Only one person in that room is actually dating Himari. The rest shouldn't be trying to indulge her just because she looks sad!

On the positive side Shiho is so pathetic that she's kind of amazing. Completely lost her head over realizing that she lost to a one-sided love that wouldn't bloom. So she turned the bet into something utterly stupid because she could. Credit to Aki for being willing to shut the whole thing down. Getting answers wasn't worth dragging someone else into it. Himari did take it out of her hands, but I respect Aki for being a good person in this.

Shiho's reasons to keep playing/singing were nowhere as shallow as we were led to believe. Or rather, she led Himari to believe. She came out of this episode looking pretty good. I can say I like her, even if she's quite the drama queen.

Momoka-senpai still best girl.

Hmm... not only is it delayed but they're skipping yuri to focus on side characters. Bad adaptation is bad, and hopefully future yuri gets better treatment than what spring 2024 as a whole got.

It was shaping up to be such a great season for yuri... and then they all crashed and burned.

Himari really might want to work on the idea of saying everything that enters her head . How the heck does she imagine these conversations are supposed to go ? I'm sure Shiho will totally want your help when it comes to the Aki situation! Settle down love master!

Although you'd think Shiho would be bright enough to realize the chance she has. Aki's romance is going nowhere. Sucks that she fell for someone else first, but...it's never going anywhere. If she wasn't being such a jerk she'd have a chance. Well obviously she's got a chance. It's a yuri series. It'll happen eventually .

Shiho really doesn't handle things very well . One thing I'm happy coming out of this episode is that it doesn't demolish everything. It's not "oh she secretly was awesome and the previous flashback looked worse than it was." No she was that awful! It's just that there's more than just that motivation. The foundation for her picking up the guitar was horrific, but somehow she started to build a decent home on top of it.

Regardless now it'll be a wait until we get back to this. And I do feel for those upset at the direction this adaptation went. I'm fine with the idea of exploring the Aki and Shiho side of things and getting that ship going. But I wouldn't have wanted it to be at the expense of the main characters.

But I kind of get it. If they only have this many episodes it comes down to a choice. Do they want to prioritize getting two ships sailing or leave one thing unfinished but deliver more good stuff for the main pair? If they only get one season which did they want to focus on? They made their call. Though I get people thinking it was the wrong one.

I saw this before watching the episode and was worried. But nope, she's still pretty darn shallow . Her reasons for starting playing the guitar were exactly what she stated. She only picked up the guitar to harass someone that she herself got jealous over. It was all Shiho, all the time. That friend was a saint. The good always die young.

Sure, it's nice that the reason for making "this band" is better than expected. It's nice that everyone came together in that moment to create a band with purpose. But her motivations for everything else is still pretty bad.

Her reason for leaving is pretty much as expected. She'd fallen for Aki, realized that she liked someone else, and thus lost her head. Playing with the band (Aki) was worth it since Aki was there. And part of her thought it might just work out romantically. But once she saw herself being second fiddle once again she just threw in the towel. And was going to toss music into the trash bin too. Very much Shiho at her core. Things don't go her way and she'll throw it all away in response.

So, now with in indefinite hiatus like Merchan Mednan happend long time ago but also recently with Isekai Ojiisan, anime production shouldn´t be chaotic like this but is a new proof of bad condiction that animator works
By the episode, they apparently change the order because in this fallow manga we see Kino and Yoru first kisses, but instead continue in Shiho arc that she doesn´t get that Aki is available
I am sure they will adapt because they release a audio drama with the kiss, proof that this actually recorded

Hopium springs eternal but its kind of hard to have a summer festival arc when summer has already ended in the anime. Most people I've seen aren't expecting anything but disappointment at this point.

I thought they made it clear that Shiho has a genuine love for music, and being the best at it was in fact the only thing that made her feel she was worth something. She has a big inferiority complex and a very bad temper, but her heart's in the right place. It wasn't out of spite she visited Kyou's grave so often, she genuinely regretted letting envy get the better of her and not staying her friend.

BDs delayed 4 months. Meaning we may have to wait until April 30th for the final episodes unless they're planning to stream them earlier or something. At that point, I'll have completely lost interest.

The production of this show is the biggest disaster in a long time.
