I'm pretty sure Thorfinn will die considering even Yukimura said this in an interview but I guess what matters now is the execution. The real Thorfinn survived to this mess in the real Vinland but passed away before hitting his 30s. Gudrid managed to look after her child too in real life.

Yup I enjoyed the chapter, Einar and Bug eyes realised they're way over their head with this battle and they can't prevent the villagers from unnecessarily doing stupid things like killing that native.

Well, the colonization of Vinland also ended in failure in real life and Yukimura at least can't kill Thorfinn for now since the real one passed away in after leaving. Then again, this manga pretty much made up the protagonists' youth

There are two Thorfinns in the story

It's a shame Yukimura didn't color Leif (as far as I can tell). He was Thorfinn's third father.

So Theo, Einar and others have gone to defend against the natives invasion from the sea. Theo dies,and every one defending the village on the coast are dead. No body of Einar is spotted but it's not looking good. But at the end of the chapter Norse reinforcement arrives, the battle was last longer now.

Yeah. They are pretty much making time while the rest escapes. It's impossible to take down every enemy
