I didn't catch it before the reveal, but thinking back on it, there were 2 episodes that foreshadowed this.

I've honestly been waiting/hoping for this type of reveal, because if Asebi had ended up being exactly as presented, I think I would have hurled, especially if he ended up with her (which he still could). But, the show has showed us time and again that hardly anything is exactly as it appears.

Also, go Masuho. Know your worth girl. If a piece of shit tells you they're a piece of shit, believe them.
