Sorry for thinking about this but are we ever gonna know what happened in the previous episode when Kana confessed to Aqua? I thought that was a big deal especially since Aqua's previous life knew the new guy was interested in her.

It'll absolutely be referenced back to later. The point is to build that on top of what Aqua said this chapter to confuse the reader as to what happened.

Kamiki is a CEO of a talent agency, it was mentioned at least once when Akane investigated to kill him.
