He just got off convalescence so it was mostly rehab for him. I did enjoy all the other Corps members just being flabbergasted at stamina monster Tanjiro.

If Uzui feels guilty about leaving the Corps when they needed him the most then he can just come back. I know he promised his wives but I'm sure they'd understand.

Guilt aside, retiring after his injuries is just a smart move to make. It's not as if he's doing nothing either.

He's still better than all the grunts put together. He's not as strong as he used to be but he's more than strong enough to make a difference. Given his state of mind and how supportive his wives are, it wouldn't make much sense for him to not rejoin the fight.

At this point, they only really care about the Upper Moons and Muzan. He barely survived his fight against Rank 6 when at his peak, after all.

We aren't even sure how many of his breathing techniques he can use with only one hand, either.

Sending him to his death for no reason would just demoralize the grunts further, honestly.

tanjiro flying on the training as expected but more than that he is raising the morale of every corps in training.

I feel like Zenitsu should spend extra time with the former sound hashira and pick up some of his skills, since he's suppose to have really good hearing

Next episode's title is a quote by Gen'ya, so chances are big that the Love, the Snake, and the Wind Pillar are going to share an episode.

This feels like big 3OP anime now except it's Ufotable doing it; Tokido repeating the same shit, and the airplanes feel like such a drag to me. No offense to people who liked them though.

so finally the training is hard for tanjiro, even that little skit with kanroji was hell. We got to know that the serpent hashira likes kanroji, I didn't saw that coming.

I loved the burn tanjiro said to the wind hashira "I won't accept you either." The best comeback ever and I'm sad that rengoku is dead and we got an asshole instead, the less we see the wind hashira the better.

the comedy in demon slayer is definitely the worst, and they dialed it up to 11 this episode

I'm just happy Tanjiro cleared three training in one ep, instead of spending one ep on each like it's been so far.

I'm pretty sure the deal with the Wind Hashira is that he wants to protect his brother by pushing him away, he just has a really weird and extreme way of showing it.

That's because the latest one was the most awful of them all. For starters, it had Zenitsu, so it's bad by default. But on top of it it highlighted the flaws of this arc even more than previous episodes: the trainings are all so extremely basic and boring (running, sparring, stretching, standing below a waterfall, pushing rocks,...) you have to wonder why the Hashira are even needed to oversee them, and secondly this arc is just a massive Tanjiro wank. He clears every hurdles easily, and the mooks just kneel before his greatness and give up to take on a supporting role in future battles. It's not only pointless and a waste of time for us to watch, it's pointless for the Demon Slayer Corps too. The Hashira should have just selected the ones who stood out from the crop (wasn't there supposed to be a ranking system with over a dozen titles?) and focus on training them and them alone. Actually make them improve their breathing techniques, which, you know, is the power system of this manga. How is what they're doing now any different from what Tanjiro was doing under Urokodaki? I'd say his training was in fact harsher because he included lethal traps.

This arc is downright atrocious, but at this point Demon Slayer is just too big to fail so Ufotable feels confident they're going to make tons of money off that. Ordinarily, this would have lasted two 20 minutes episodes tops.

Without giving out manga spoilers, I would have preferred if this kept focusing on characters who would remain closer to Tanjiro in order to make the final arc more important than in the manga.
