well one thing for sure is that kojima is not going to have a happy ending, he is scum and not even the captain can protect him and when he knows that kojima is gunning for misake even less. Adding that fable now is getting involved and he may act for misaki and adding mooore the new pro really looks like a pro.

so yeah, kojima is really screwed.

Sunagawa's hired his old assassin friend to take out Kojima and Takahashi. All business, even if it's also person against Kojima. I feel kind of bad for Takahashi though .

Ugh, Kainuma's been slipping into Misaki's apartment, helping himself, and stashing a camera to record her. As if he wasn't enough of a creep. The only saving grace is that he hasn't really caught anything lewd, just Misaki under pressure from Kojima .

I love how Yoko is so desperate for entertainment she wishes her hamster could drink and be her new boy toy. She'll just have to settle for some fun with Misaki and sending pics of Misaki's face as she's being tickled to her bro .

How can Yoko describe her job to Misaki without actually describing her job? It just makes it sound like she's a call girl, which, is like, the last thing Misaki needed to hear about right now .

Fun with Misaki is all well and good...but Akira has to prioritize getting the hang of his new car. And he likes the feel of it !

Oh no, not the boss! Let the man be drunk in peace .

The Fable slipping in and securing Ebihara's revolver and the information that Kojima is targeting Misaki! That's a pro for you! No wonder the other assassin wants to take him on .

I knew Akira had Kainuma's number when it comes to what he's been doing with Misaki, though he's less interested in that than the fact that she's being threatened by Yakuza. At least he's willing to help her .

Two of her bosses have been beaten up, Misaki doesn't want to see anyone else get hurt on her account, she's lost all hope of getting out from under Kojima's thumb...so she gives up and basically signs her body away, complete with a contract. As if to add insult to injury he also makes her talk about her sexual history AND suck on his fingers. Poor Misaki sobbing to herself alone, she doesn't deserve this .

But Akira is preparing to save her, building himself a gun suited to his new life situation, and prepared to turn The Fable from killer to rescuer for her sake...and even using Yoko's connection to Takahashi to get a GPS tracker he can use to follow them and hopefully prevent Misaki from going along with this .

fable is not going to kill because of his mission but it will be enough to rescue misaki and knowing him it will be before misaki does something to regret and even if fable doesn't kill kojima there is another hitman after him.

Yoko is TOTALLY into it if Akira is in love with Misaki. Akira doesn't think he can feel those kinds of emotions, but he feels he owes it to her to help her after everything she's done for him, he feels like protecting her, and her smile makes him feel something...wait, this really does sound like he likes her, in his own way! And Yoko cares about Misaki too, so she'll help .

Even in a conventional commercial about getting rid of germs, somehow Jackal loses an arm .

As if Kojima couldn't come off like more of a scumbag, he never intended to let Misaki work three months. He's going to use her up in a brothel and as a stepping stone to his future criminal enterprise. And Takahashi doesn't have much choice but to follow him at this point, even as traumatized as he is of getting shot .

I love how Misaki is "Running Woman" in Akira's phone. And despite their mutual circumstances and who Akira is, they genuinely seem to have found a nice relationship with each other, especially when Akira owes Misaki a lot for all the things she's done for him that she's never thought twice about. Which actually makes him giddy over being the one who gets to save her this time around .

Oh hey, HanaKana with an accent! Despite everything Misaki is trying to pay off her dads' debt, even if it means working in a business she wanted no part of .

The boss is okay! He just can't drink alcohol right now, which is probably for the best. But Kainuma has absolutely NO right to ask how Misaki is doing .

Ebihara has a late night visitor in the hospital...Akira's boss, THE Fable, and he's not happy about what Ebihara has gotten Akira mixed up in. Though what's he going to do to Ebihara? What's Ebihara going to do when he finds out how much things have escalated ?

Hey, Yoko made him smoke bombs (I think?), she at least earned a good soak in a shower .

Misaki cleans up nicely, I just wish it were under far better circumstances .

There's no way Sunagawa and Kojima went into this meeting expecting them both to walk way from it. The only question is if Sunagawa's assassin will kill Kojima and if Akira will be able to avoid fighting him .

Man, thank goodness Akira had to use the second floor to infiltrate and get closer to where Misaki is .

This night is not going well for Misaki. She gets sexually harassed, called "merchandise," forced to earn her keep, gets her dress ripped off her and nearly sexually assaulted...but even in a world where the "bad guys always in," all that really matters is having someone in your corner strong enough to protect you. Because the "strong always win." Like Akira using his Fable moves to knock a dude out in five seconds .

the built up was so slow but at least at the end he manage to save her in time. Next chapter should be really satisying.

Good thing Akira showed up just in time to save Misaki from getting raped! And leaving her assaulter lying unconscious and with his pants down, as trash like him deserves .

Misaki is, obviously, freaking out and Akira is not the best at reassuring or comforting people. I'm glad Yoko's prioritizing Misaki's mental state but Akira can only think to do Jackal impressions. But it's the thought that counts, I guess .

You can tell Kojima was just waiting to confirm he killed Sunagawa's guy the way he was so smug about it. And that's all Sunagawa needed to signal his guys...of course they didn't plan on Akira being there and interfering .

I'm surprised there was enough of Misaki's dress left to fix, but I guess I'm glad she doesn't have to run around constantly covering her boobs .

Kickboxer guy being the only decent person there ends up getting him an assist from his "old buddy" Akira who easily handles the hitmans' assisant (he's no Yoko, that's for sure) and the honor of escorting Misaki to safety .

So what is THE Fable want with Akira? Akira is a savant with killing, but could he be inducted into proper society if given the opportunity? It seems like his mentor wants him to at least have the chance, which is why he doesn't want him getting dragged into conflict courtesy of Ebihara. And the next time it happens, his "sly" knife will find itself lodged into his head .

Hitman vs Hitman! Sunagawa's guy is skilled, but he's got nothing on Akira who is able to put the fear of Fable into him with nothing more than toy bullets. That just goes to show how fearsome Akira is .

Misaki is pretty understandably shook up, but at least kickboxer dude is in her corner and wants to help her, for whatever that's worth. Hopefully Misaki is finally free to live her life now .

Kojima got shot! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, but Akira still needs him so he and Yoko drive him home. And Akira didn't kill anybody! Maybe. Probably. Hey, he's new at tihs kind of thing, okay ?

Sunagawa is left reeling from wondering who sent the Fable, if he's working with Kojima, and who is working against him, all the while plotting his next move. I don't think we're done with trouble from this guy .

it was too easy for fable. I would've loved if misaki found out that it was akira all along or at least she figures it out soon by spending time with him.
