First, for BWTraveller - I saw your comment a bit back and don't think I've read/seen either but had some thoughts and found a few titles in similar genre but not sure they were close enough to mention but I may revisit that and ask around and will let you know if anything comes up.

For the other recent request by Annsilet, I may know it.

I talked to this person recently. He says he saw the anime, which had few chapters, maybe six, six or five years ago.

Just seeing your post now and wanted to toss in the first quick thought. It's not old but the white hair (not too long) and 6 or so years ago watching it; and the comes on a ship (mainly a cube shape) and philosophy (steming from predicaments testing the preparedness/reaction of humanity to receive various "technology"/knowledge; though, as the viewer is suspicious of why the alien is there and giving technology/knowledge to them, there is a bit more going on by the end). I'd completely forgotten about the robe-like attire/"form" but that would also match. It has CG and focuses around interactions with the the negotiator/ambassador that Japan (or course) picked and what is relayed to humanity (if deemed prepared) and the reactions. (Sitting and chatting or wandering and chatting; even when the negotiator is away from the alien to do things they are chatting (except a spoiler I won't note here).)

(There was a manga adaptation and manga spinoff it seems but I've not read them myself)

Though it grows much larger scale and then "back down to earth" or to nature as they say, and at the last minute can be seen as getting a little odd at the end. (I forget but if I remember without checking there is some change or extension between the series/ova by the end - I remember the scenes but not which is or is not in which; but that can be looked up if considering which to watch etc). I enjoyed it maybe a little more than I should for some aspects so it stuck out in my mind for the description even if not that old of an anime (though the CG may have some wonder).

That may be it. If not then let us know and we/others can consider other possibilities. Just remember that the first episode or two has different animation than the rest of the episodes if trying to verify by sampling.

Update 2: I also want to stress that scififan's suggestion it two different works, just in case you only checked one of the two given the singular "not that anime", and in case it is not Kado (and as Kado is not too old but it just a little older then the estimated first watched the unidentified show).

I post under this thread a Doughua upcoming anime cause I can't be sure since it is a Chinese anime. It's called the Lord of Mysteries and it os adapted from the popular Chinese webnovel. It is coming out around this summer

There's this anime and one of the episodes these two girls entered this windmill looking thing I think and they lose their clothes somehow cuz of the windmill and then they can't go outside because there's a class or something I think and they get tied together by a rope and covered in some dust so they look like a statue and some dude they know finds them and thinks they're a statue but he gives them his clothes I forgot the name please help

Something in mind since a long time now...

Looks like a 90s or early 2000s anime :
A pretty muscular, maybe redhead, woman training and doing acrobatics on wood logs planted in the ground. She used a big sword like FFX Auron.

I can't tell more because it was on a trailer (with a lot of other ones) or something on a dvd as bonus. I don't think however that she's the main character.

And the sword is more like Guts one
