Now that we've all gotten accustomed to the fourth opening, we can hold this poll as a final battle ground, and end this warfare once and for all

Please base your judgment on the music and the animation combined - don't vote for a song just because it's your favorite musically, or just because it has some really awesome animation sequences. Vote for it as a combination of both.

For me, it's a really tough choice. Melissa is out immediately, even though Porno Graffiti is probably my favorite out of the four bands - even so, some of their solo stuff is better and the animation for the first opening wasn't particularly eye-popping. Ready Steady Go is a really awesome song, maybe even my favorite out of the four, but the animation wasn't too great either (with the exception of the section devoted to the military and the last ten seconds or so), so it's also out.

The battle for me is between Rewrite and Undo. Both are excellent songs, and both have really awesome animation. I think my vote will have to be cast for Rewrite, because it gives the Sins more screentime than any of the others, and it also has Hohenheim and Dante... as well as the really cool city and the awesome last scene with the brothers on the railroad tracks. Undo had some really kickass Greed and Co. action, but Rewrite had more Sins in general, and I like the songs about equally, so I guess Rewrite wins!

Rewrite sounded kinda "bleh" to me, mainly cause I had already heard it 30 times back when it was called Haruka Kanata and had slightly different words. I far prefer Undo, although the part in Ready Steady Go with the military won me over the first time I saw it, the first time a new opening theme has ever won me over that quickly. Undo was more of a "that's not that bad" at first. Melissa is an excellent song, but the visuals weren't that great and I'd rather listen to Undo.

Rewrite has the best visuals, Undo has the best song, Undo's visuals aren't bad, Rewrite's song is, therefore Undo wins.

Dude, this question is evil. It has me trying to wage a war between one of my favorite bands and the most catchiest song. I really really love the song "Undo" by Cool Joke. It has a awesome, catchy beat and the atmosphere is much lighter. You also have to give major props to Cool Joke because this is their FIRST single!

On the other hand, Asian Kung-Fu Generation is one of my favorite bands. "Rewrite" is quite good too, but much more serious. The animation for this opening though is superb, and probably the best out of all 4 openings. I too also like how they focus a lot on the homonculus.

Aaaahhh, can we vote for 2? lol

Hm....I'll give my vote to Cool Joke's "Undo" this time, but not without some hesitation hehe. Both openings are superb and equally great in their own ways. I suppose it depends somewhat whether you liked the more upbeat or serious atmostphere the two openings presented.

I had to go with Rewrite. The animation for both it and "UNdo" were tied as my faves, but ever since turning into a Naruto freak I'm in love with AKFG's music.

I voted for 'READY STEADY GO' as my favourite OP track, I also like the visuals, especially the way the characters appeared, the others are okay but all a bit samey....

I have Haruka Kanata and Rewrite, but I don't see why people keep comparing the two and calling them the same song with different words.

Back to the point, I would choose Rewrite, with UNDO at a really close second. The fight scenes and the brothers at the railroad tracks really hit the spot.

Yeah, I'm really excited about Cool Joke. UNDO is their first single, an amazing song, and Bukkowakeru Tsuki, the song that accompanied UNDO in the single release, is excellent as well. Their first album is coming out on the 18th, and I know I'll order it as soon as it's out! I might like these guys as much as I like Porno Graffiti, if I give them some time

i like Undo a-l-o-t because i never heard that kind of "beat" in that kinda music.
while the animation was pretty cool, it mainly focused on Greed and his gang.
but my favorite would be Rewrite. cuz it has the same style as my old naruto favorite.
and has crazy animation. (FYI my favorite part is when roy does rainbow spin)

My favourite would be "REWRITE" because I like the chorus. I also like the music in the beginning. The OP scene is kinda 'ehh' itself though.

Like the rest of you, i have trouble choosing between Rewrite and Undo. Really they're both well done, and the visuals to go along with them fit well with the songs. I voted for Rewrite, but both of them are equal in my opinion.

. It's my favorite anyway though so... :P. I like Ready Steady Go too though.
