The writer of Oreimo....well I guess props the author for not breaking off what they are good at. I'd probably play it safe and just make a very similar story to one that already sold insanely well in the past too .
Hard to say if this will be any good or not. Though at least everyone will go into it knowing that the brother will hook up with his step-sister. Less chance of angering people that way.

Muh rage at Oreimo season 2 ep 12 and last episodes. I cried because their rejections were that harsh.
To be frank, after Oreimo I have been reluctant to try the creators other works...I'll give this one a shot though.

Spoiler for plot opinion:
Anyway, I never got why there was such a strong polemic with Oreimo, many years ago in Angel Sanctuary, the sibilings even slept together... (and it is the first example that came to my mind ) |

Bare in mind that the only reason why Oreimo anime ended like it did is because new laws that came out in Japan. Because of that law true Oreimo end from light novels could not be animated and they had to made anime original one that everyone hated ( good thing that PSP game fixed that for everyone ).
I think Ero Manga sensei will not have the same problem. Plot is done much better and both characters are quite likable. I have high expectation and I hope it will not disappoint. There are 5 volumes of LN so they have enough material. |
