My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 is getting a TV anime adaptation.

Synopsis

Ryouta Satou, who died from overworking at a black company, was reincarnated to another world. Although Ryouta was alive, he was now burdened with the inconvenience that his level is fixed to 1 in this new world. Although he wasn’t able to raise his level, he had a unique skill that can create a cheat-like item that shouldn't exist in the world from monsters. Knowing this, he maxed out his stats with the help of ability-up items, and he gathered a number of weapons and items that can only be used by himself, which made him have the strongest stats and gear despite being level 1.

Is there really nothing more to the story aside from him being OP despite being level 1 forever?

Oh...another Level 1 story eh? I'm reading one right now - although I don't know how much longer it will be up on Kakuyomu because it's got so many H centered chapters.

I wonder if I read this one in the past. The title makes it difficult for me to compare with my saved links.

Wow, it took less than a summary for the whole level concept to become entirely pointless . Outside of spending the series having people go "lol, level 1 can't do anything" and then being shocked at him being OP...I wonder if the show will find something remotely interesting to do with itself.

Truck-kun is being replaced by being worked to death it seems. Sounds like a much more common isekai vehicle these days.

Oh...I finally tracked it down. I only read 11 chapters from it five years ago. I dropped it and gave it a mediocre rating. And this came at a time when I had a much higher tolerance for reading not-so-great web novels.

I didn't write any comments as to why I dropped it however.

This kinda reminds me of another series I'm reading, Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers. Might be a fun fantasy slice of life if done right.

Well, "death by overwork" is actually as old a trope for Isekai Series, as is Truck-kun & suddenly Summoned (its just the Anime scene haven't covered it much yet).

While it seems like its meant to be a slice-of-life type, but no its not.

Its a Power Fantasy type Series (with Harem elements) and an MC who wouldn't even be considered at any level of the 5 Male Personality Types, because his thoughts are too set on the weak-minded corporate slave mentality.

Atleast the MC wasn't that much of a crybaby type compared to the Web Novel (even his usually design looks more cheerful compared to the Manga).

I'm kinda confused if his harem is just full of lolis or maybe they're dwarves or... I don't know what exactly is going on with the height gap. I might give it another episode but I'm not that excited by this one. Seems like a generic isekai harem.

It'd be funny if instead of being sappy sweet like she is, the blond was more of a dom and he finds himself back to being overworked. "Go kill more stuff for me, earn me bean sprouts. You're my drop! I own you!!" then the show is about him trying to escape lol

She said "everything in this world" being a dungeon drop. So... curious how far that is intended. Literally everything? If you want a king size bed you need to find the right monster, kill it, then try to get the big bed out of a dungeon and back to your house? That sounds a bit troublesome. The art shows him with a revolver; there is some revolver dropping mob too? Kinda curious what kind of mob would be the TENGA dropping mob

Hmmm. So level two drops carrots. In there, he meets an Usagi-chan. She comes to his house, and confesses. Gonna go out on a limb here and assume she's saying that to the ginormous carrots in blonde's arms lol. I further assume in the next ep she'll be invited in to dine on whatever the blond chick whips up using the carrots. Though were it me, she all she's done is smack me in the head and tell me how much she hates lv 1s like me, I'd just shut the door in her face. But this is the world of anime, where you can kill someone's parents and still end up best friends so I'm sure it'll work out fine hehe.

You know, I kind of like it. The MC is going to reach an OP level of power. But it's something he at least has to work on in order to get there. Framing stat seeds takes time and effort so it's not like he's immediately overpowering everything. The drop skills just really helped get him rolling.

Honestly it was nice seeing how they got started off even if it nearly began with him getting dissected . Just kind of nice with her expressing kindness in a low moment for Ryota and then him working his rear off to get her a place where she can live despite her fairly poor stats and low drop rates.

I thought this would be more about him needing a team (harem) so he could farm some crazy stuff and abuse his drop skill. But if there's a stat farming area where he can power up regardless of his level then really it's only a matter of time until he can handle everything by himself. He's already basically immortal thanks to boosting his HP to the max. Although if he came across something that could keep hammering away until it did whittle his HP down then he'd have trouble.

Rabbit girl...could be left behind honestly. I'm sure her issue will be that she lost low level friends or something when they pushed themselves further than they could handle, but for now she's just kind of rude. Of course she's probably just there for the carrots.

Though will he even need to team up with her if that's where it's going? I think he can manage by himself for now, go back to farming up his stats, and get into a great spot in no time. Also, too bad for the shop/guild girl, but Ryota's already spoken for.

I guess for Emily...Ryota was the real S drop

I was thinking about it just now, and answered my own question. Given that the slime drops bean sprouts and not bean sprout soup, I assume what really happens is you find a mob that drops oak or something and you use the raw materials to build your furniture. Or maybe it just drops oak seeds and you still have to grow the tree.

Yea, at least there is a modicum of effort here. Though he did shoot health from F to S in one session, so just a modicum lol

It wouldn't really be that hard; looking at the amount the health went down from the slime attacks versus the size of the bar, he would only survive about 60 hits. Plus that's from one of the weakest mobs out there. It landed several hits on him in a second, so if it can continue that rate he has about half a minute or so to kill it. Though if it's like a video game, it likely can't sustain that rate of attack. Given how easily he killed it, I doubt he'd have any issues (plus he wasn't even really trying to defend, and he hasn't gotten any armor yet) but it may get dicey if he runs into a slime herd, lol

Early on, but I'm really hoping this bunny girl picks up some redeeming qualities. I can't even say being cute is one since...she's just ok. So far we've just seen her chop someone with the intent to seriously injure them...and then grabbing some innocent victim off the street...to chop them and seriously injure them. And then just there to eat other people's food. Her nickname is "the Killing Rabbit!" Throw this girl in a prison please!

Emily really is the best girl. What an absolute angel. Destiny really worked out for both her and Sato. Both of them living bleak lives where they simply ate alone and their lives were so utterly bleak. But now they can happily share meals and greet each day with a smile .

And now he's on improving his strength. So he should basically become the most powerful person in the world in short order. Sure there are other stats to buff. But once his HP and Strength are maxed...it's going to take a specific skillset to corner him.

Episode 2 was still good. Not as good as episode 1 and that's mostly because Eve honestly is kind of a bother. Great that she can at least appreciate Emily's godly cooking, but that's about all she has going for her.
