All in all, not a bad episode. It gets through a pretty fair amount of storyline, and ends exactly where I thought it would. I didn't much care for the whole episode basically being one discussion, but I guess it was necessary. Looks like next episode might get them to the bridge of Heaven and Earth. Either that, or it'll end with the new Team 7 leaving Konoha. Either way, next week should be interesting. As for this week, 6/10.
Yamato looked weird in his entrance. They fix it a few frames later, but his initial introduction just looked...off. Like a five-year-old was allowed to outline his face. Also, just personal opinion, but there were a few too many flashbacks. Most of that stuff I remembered, and I didn't think the flashbacks were necessary. Ino's introduction was nice, even though she wasn't in it for long (which may have been a good thing). And, I'm sorry, but I just can't get over how bad ass Chouji looks now. So, like I said...6/10. Average, not too much more.
