Nice signatures you got there. You shouldn't bother with C4D imo. Your usual signatures look so much better. Of course i don't want to discourage you from learning other styles. But so far your usual style all turn out very nice.
And I also believe that one will do very well in the SOTM. The only thing i don't like is the text. Other than that. It's very promising ihmo.

It's not that it should be small as much as it shouldn't be really bright or really dark [depending on the background]. Too much contrast pulls in the eye.
The key is to make the text a little bit lighter or darker so it'll be noticable [and/or readable] but won't be distracting. |

At what size are you doing the vector? For sharper lines and such, you can enlarge the picture you're vectoring by 200%, 300%, or more, and vector that. It doesn't matter that the picture is pixelated or anything since you're doing a vector anyways. Afterwards, you can resize the image back to whatever size you want [although I'd keep a large copy just in case].
