At last, an explanation. Though in the end it still boils down to Key magic.
My astonishment continues with the fact that there are still two episodes left. Not that I mind, I'm just wondering what they're going to do with them. I also noticed that Komari didn't really have a proper goodbye, though the scenes this episodes and the preview seem to imply the next one will have more of her and the whole wish business. I thought it was a bit weird that Riki got the answers and more or less accepted it so quickly after I had to agonize over his lack of knowledge since the first season. But then again, him "getting over it" was pretty much the point of the whole thing to begin with. And it kind of irked me that they shoved Rin to the side and only enlightened Riki. On the whole, I thought it was very bearable and I was beginning to think I would actually make it through the episode with only slightly teary eyes. Then Kyousuke started crying. Well, this being Key I'm still pretty sure we're getting a happy ending, though the impact isn't lost. |

Kyousuke's breakdown really got me. I haven't gotten this close to crying in years. 10/10.
I wouldn't have minded if they had ended the series there. I doubt the next two episode will top this, but we'll see.

Need more anime only viewer reactions in here. I've waited 36 episodes for this. This is the moment where you realize, "oh so it's KEY after all."
11: Someone give Brosuke's VA an award for that. Damn that was painful to hear. No complaints from me, it's every bit as good as its VN counterpart.

10/10. The episode was as good as its Visual Novel counterpart. The people who have worked on this episode have my respect.
Even after playing the VN multiple times, I still have to cry at this part of the story. ;_; Quote:
Their friendship is just that strong. This episode showed just how much they all love each other.

Wow that was great! They make some great improvements. I will have to go back and watch again to really appreciate it, but they did an awesome job, especially at the end. I loved the extended scene with Kyousuke it was a really great touch with showing the rest of the team. Also at the beginning I really liked him seeing the girls as well.
The part with Rin really bothered me in the VN as well how she just was like ??? the whole time. Her reaction to Masato and Kengo disappearing could have been improved on defiantly. |
