Manga MF Ghost has a TV anime adaptation coming in 2023.

Synopsis

I am not really sold after watching the teaser. Cameras are static and the bright color palette felt like the contrast settings were maxed out. Car models are also flat, way flatter than the models of the ones used in Initial D. It has to sell more if it wants people, especially fans of Initial D, to watch the series.

Honestly I'm liking what I'm seeing and hearing. It's only a matter of story and pacing being good (two things I don't know about. Haven't looked into the manga).

I'd have preferred Initial D with a repaint. The racing's lost a bit of its charm when going legit.

i liked it, despite the new modern take, the characters and interactions feels like back in the 90's.
the girl is a much more fun character than the other girl in Initial D.

"Cute teenage prostitute" was such a different choice of love interest, and yet not much was done with that.
