Rushed to all hell. They're seriously going to resolve everything in this arc with just 2 episodes? Really bad decision there. The bare minimum any novel has gotten was at least 3 episodes, and those were the most rushed arcs. This was just a disjointed mess. I suppose if I hadn't read the novels way back I wouldn't be feeling it as much, but it should still feel flat to firsttimers. So much detail lost. Seriously disappointed.

I guess as someone who hasn't read its respective volume, it's already a big plus in general for me because while the episode feels fast, I don't feel anything was lost or disjointed.
In actuality I find this arc better organized than the last one, though I can imagine if they gave Move Point one more episode it would be even better than I think it already is. edit: Thought I'd reread the LN since the last time I checked it out was a while ago and there wasn't too much translated yet (for example Volume 8). From what I see it's better to wait till this season's done and then start reading, that's that!

havent readed the novel but i really loved this episode, i dont know if they ommited a lot but they executed the episode well, it had that sense of suspense that i loved from first season, and kuroko when shes serious she relly becomes one of the best characters in the series, i dont give this episode a 10 cuz i see what i feared a shota/moe-fication of accelerator...

I didn't watch the episode yet, but from a looks of it, A CERTAIN SCENE I WAS PRAYING FOR JC STAFF TO ADAPT WELL FORGOT A CERTAIN IMPORTANT PART THAT DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO EPISODE 20 OF THE FIRST SEASON:
Spoiler for volume 8 space and point:
Disappoint.

I enjoyed this episode. The pace is about what I expected considering this arc will be two episodes. I feel the pacing flowed pretty well, spending just enough time on each scene to get the main points across before moving one. I'm looking forward to next week to see the finale.

WHAT'S THIS?!
KUROKO ALL UP IN YOUR INDEX?!?!?!?!?! Lovely, simply lovely. Though, the girls were looking a little fuller than I remember, but judging from all the breasts in the opening, I shouldn't really be surprised. Kuroko needs her own spin-off. She's really just too awesome. |

Just watched the episode, and I have to say the fights looked pretty well done. Still very pissed off about that very short Accel/LO scene that left out a LOT, but as a LN reader I think I'll be nitpicking at things throughout the entire season, so I'll continue to post excerpts from the LN so that people here can compare.
Awaki is wonderfully portrayed here and she continues to be one of my favorite characters in the Index series because of her powers and her fashion sense. I do have to agree though, what's with Kuroko's random teleporting off of buildings? Not that it doesn't look nice, but what was the purpose of that? Also, I felt kinda pissed off when I saw that the budget and animation only substantially increased in an episode where the Railgun girls were featured.

Actually as someone who had read this volume, I thought they did a really good job adapting it. The reason why the fights felt short in comparison to the other novel readers was because most of it involves ALOT of monologue planning, if you cut out those then this is what you would get... Though in the process they seem to have removed Mikoto fighting with the other Espers. Also I would like to add that the other large portion of the story went to Kuroko's [undying love for Mikoto] monologue which was honestly sweet, but abit overkill later on.
The Remnant arc is possibly the most straight forward story for this season so really the anime just got the right amount of information in and they're already at the half mark point, I could honestly see this ending smoothly next episode. But then again, I really only had one expectation for this arc and it comes from the last part...
