Tokyo Revengers Season 2
It looks like Tokyo Revengers Season 2's production has started according to voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki. There's also an event tonight and from various sources earlier this month, we're getting a second season

I mean, from a vocal continuity standpoint I can understand it, but it's not like they're doing that with any of his other work...that I know of . Ironically the one person to not cancel Suzuki was the wife he cheated on...although there were probably extenuating circumstances that helped .

From what I'm understanding from the ANN article they're going to "update" every existing version with this new dub, including streaming, reruns, etc...
And it's actually the Blu-ray Box that will have the new dub, I'm guessing a few Blu-rays already came out with Suzuki's voice, so they can't erase that at least. What they're going is still pretty bad, and I'm worried about Suzuki if it turns out the industry truly doesn't want him anymore. The guy has already attempted suicide once, after all...

I guess the big question is whether he'll still get to reprise Ban now. I kind of wonder if he and LiSA are spending more time together considering his suicide attempt and the issues in their relationship...

Now I wonder if the official parody version, Todai Revengers, can ever get an anime too.

Takemichi gets to properly meet Hakkai Shiba! The vice-captain of Mitsuya's second division in Toman! Voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka! And while it seems in the future he ends up taking over Black Dragon and gets pretty edgy, he seems pretty chill and likeable here and worships Mitsuya. How could he turn out that way in the future? Well, I guess we see what his brother is like .
Poor Takemichi has to defend his honor in front of Hina as she's in awe of Hakkai's physical prowess...and Hakkai goes hard, with anything. Takemichi tries his best, and he can get several strikes in bowling, but he can't quite measure up. Although was anyone expecting him to win at billiards ? Yuzuha is quite the looker! Hina is more of a proper high school girl while Yuzuha is rocking that delinquent schoolgirl look. Being voiced by Mikako Komatsu doesn't hurt either. And while she loves sassing her little brother, she also seems like a bit of a brocon, which is cute. But she also seems like she can take care of herself, which is nice . Ah, Takemichi and Hakkai are bros now! Hina and Yuzuha seem to have bonded too. That's nice. Of course it just makes Takemichi more confused knowing what the future is like, but Takemichi's job is to prevent that from happening and getting the best ending for everybody . Hina takes it surprisingly well that her boyfriend is basically a gang leader . Does Takemichi measure up as 1st division leader? I mean, no? He kind of only got the position from good endurance and knowing the right people. Even he realizes he's more screwed than other Toman members . Speak of the devils, it's Black Dragon! And compared to Toman they really seem made up of a bunch of pyschos, although some star-studded VA's are in it. We've got Natsuki Hanae as Kokonoi, Junya Enoki as Inui, and even Tomokazu Sugita of all people as their boss and the Shiba siblings oldest, Taiju Shiba. And he might be the most psychotic of them all . Takemichi finally decides to run away and still gets beat up for it...and by the big boss of Black Dragons himself. Who then wants his little brother to kill him. Is Hakkai more afraid of his brother than he's loyal to Toman/his friends ? The ED is pretty nice and surprisingly Yuzuha focused! With her running around, presumably chasing after her family and trying to save them. I also get the sense they had a rough childhood .
