Given it says 3 women, I suspect the shorthaired one in male clothing might be female. EDIT - She's female. Quote:

Isn't the Jinchuu arc being adapted for a Kenshin live-action movie, btw? Also, I don't think Takahashi's the only mangaka with sameface issues - I hear Tanemura Arina's part of that group too. Last edited by zztop; 2020-05-09 at 02:36. |

I love Inuyasha but I didnt have too much expectation for this new sequel. After watching it....it was below what I expected. Though its only episode 1 so it's still early to judge I guess.
But what bothered me the most was..... Miroku! You sound so different! I then checked and found out that the previous VA had passed away 2 years ago.

The new protags feel fun so far. And Towa seems to be a good & level-headed non-tsundere protag. I like it so far.
What really disappointed me about this episode is I came expecting to see Towa, Moroha & Setsuna. Instead, I have to endure the boring & annoying Inuyasha & co. for most of the episode. Blah! Get them off the screen already.

I'm surprised that they started out by adapting the Inuyasha epilogue one-shot. Still, it was a nice way to welcome older viewers who were familiar with the original series, and it was great to hear Kappei Yamaguchi, Satsuki Yukino and the rest of the original cast. I was afraid they were going to write out Miroku so they wouldn't have to recast his voice, but instead they got Makoto Yasumura to replace the late, great Koji Tsujitani.
Now that they got that out the way, I look forward to learning more about the three "princesses" and their origins. Although they brought back Yoshihito Hishinuma to do the character designs, his art style looks noticeably different now, but I guess I'll get used to it. |
